*Why you want to join: Jii asked me, plus it sounds like a lot of fun and everyone seems pretty cool (I creeped on the site for a few minutes lol)

*Your cosplay experience (i.e. how long have you been cosplaying) : I sorta studied other cosplayers for a couple years before I fully embraced it. My first attempt was such a bad fail that I went on a hiatus for 3 years and researched even more before I recently attempted it again. So, like a year.

*How you portray what being "in character" is in detail: Well, basically acting. You take on an entirely new personality, look, manner of speaking, behavior, etc. You loose yourself in the character, thus becoming them.

*Example of your "in character" experience in detail (if you have one): Well, I got used to it from role playing. Then when I started cosplaying, I only thought it was natural to act like the character. My first in character experience was cosplaying as Hikaru Hitachiin from Ouran Host Club. My cousin was Kaoru so we had no problem doing their random brotherly love moments ^^;; My most recent was Schrodinger from Hellsing, I practiced for weeks trying to master a german accent and I've gotten so used to it that it slips out now lol But I did speak with a german accent the entire time in said cosplay, and marched around the con teasing every Alucard there haha

*Which character you would like to have and why: Well, I'd love to have Rikku from Final Fantasy X and X-2. The only thing is I only have her X-2 theif outfit and I'm not sure if I'd be allowed in public (other than a con) in said outfit ^^;; I doubt going to the mall or walking around town in that would be very smart, or safe eheh. Erm, maybe I should think on that a little longer??? >_>;;

*Have you read the Q&A and Rules? : I did, that was the first thing I did as soon as I got to the site ^w^

*Do you plan on attending some of the events (if you are able to make it): Of course!! Granted if I'm not working that is.

* Decribe to me how you prepare your cosplay. What elements do you being together for your costume?: I start with gathering as many reference photos as possible. Then search endlessly for the perfect wig, order it, and start on gathering materials for the outfit. I pay attention to specific details, such as the fabric used (at least as best as I can tell from reference), jewelry, weapons, eye color, other props, etc. Basically I try to be perfectly accurate with my cosplay. I think the most difficult thing for me is finding correct shoes, especially when the character is tall and I am Edward Elric short >_<;;

Anything special you'd like to bring into the community?: My willingness to help anyone with their cosplays and to cheer them on with lots of compliments ^w^

If you'd like, you can be Rikku, and just cosplay her "casually"?
As in maybe just replace her top with something similar that she would wear if she didn't have her normal top?
Doing casual cosplays is accepted.

Well, I guess I could use her top from the Kingdom Hearts version of her and keep the rest of the X-2 outfit. Or maybe make the skirt shorts....I'll figure something out lol We can always change our Main Character right?

That sounds like a good idea ^_^ I'd try it out.
You can always change your main character, but since you do so much with your main character I'd rather not have people wanting to change them all the time. So if you are still unsure if you want her, then I'd wait until you are absolutely sure. Let me know when you're sure ^^ Our first even doesn't start till next month probably, it would be awesome if you could make it.

Okay, I'll try it and see how I like it. And maybe wear it somewhere to test it out lol

When is the event, so I know how long I have to think and figure something out ^^;; Also so I know if I have to call off work for that day

I'll make sure to let everyone know of the event at least 3 weeks prior to the actual day. n_n It will be on a weekend, most likely a Friday or Saturday. We are still working on some ideas to add onto the event. n_n

If you need any help with ideas for your costume let me know :3

Okay, I made a decision. I'll have Rikku be my Main Character, but would it be alright if I had a sub character to use for winter events? If not then its okay lol (I'm sorry, I'm being so difficult >_<;; )

I meant if there was an event the group has in the winter I probably couldn't cosplay Rikku with out freezing lol But I could always try to put a different outfit together for her based on her other outfits and what other Al Bhed people wear in the game. 8D
